By the dawn of the '70s, rock had splintered into a thousand pieces, and Elektra managed to get a little piece of each. For the singer/songwriter set, they presented Carly Simon and Harry Chapin; mainstream pop radio embraced the likes of Bread; glam rockers claimed Queen and Jobriath; and the label's roster even boasted Brit folkies such as Ian Matthews and Lindisfarne.
