I haven't made a good mix for a while, so I asked for a theme from friends. One suggested "Fourth grade & the smell of raincoats," which was just too strange to pass up. I remember almost nothing from that age, just a jumble of fragments and images, nor do I know exactly what raincoats smell like. So I went with a mix of songs that evoke a nostalgic sort of vibe, some surrealistic stuff, and a running theme of rain turning to sunshine. It plays pretty well, and was a lot of fun to think about and assemble.Feedback:

i like this. great theme, too. i don't remember much about 4th grade either, although, funnily enough, the other day i thought about my first grade teacher, and i remembered her name too. weird. hope beantown isn't too cold for ya - while you're at it, can you say hi to my folks?

you do too know what raincoats smell like, you just forgot. next time you're in a store, smell a kid's raincoat and it'll all come back. it's one of the best smells there is.
