I swear to God I'll die if I go home alone tonight
Comment:
Okay. This is the final revision of my 2002 year-end mix, reflecting my personal best out of the albums that I heard through 12/31/02. I'd have deleted the other mix or updated it, but I didn't want to stiff the folks who had posted such cool feedback on it; as such, I'm not expecting a flood of commentary, but I wanted to post this for my own completist satisfaction. Title from the Owen song. Enjoy.Feedback:
I haven't heard much of this, but I think it would be a great way of hearing the best of last year's music, since I trust your judgement ,Rob. top of the pile please, my friend, and when you feel up to another round of trades, please say the word.
Rob: This looks awesome. Glad to see your Wilco choice, that is my favorite track on that album, love to see Okkervil River on anyone's mix, and I really like that Bright Eyes song despite it being the least-favorite of critics reviewing Lifted.
Thanks, folks. Summer: That's my favorite song on the Bright Eyes album BY FAR; in fact, I think it is almost single-handedly responsible for the high ranking that I give that record (his unbelievably sophomoric political bullshit gets old).
looks great, rob. love the appendix out pick, esp. that's one that gets played A LOT here by kim (& myself) on bigstar. also love the art of fighting pick, among others.
I'm with Gerard on this one, Rob. Lots of stuff I haven't heard, but would like to. Whenever you're up for trading, I'd like to include this one in the pile.
hi Rob! thanks so much for the reply to my discussion forum post. :) that made me smile. hehe. and trust me, when I find the time to do so, I'd love to trade with you. definitely. *hugs*
Hi Rob! thanks for your comment on my mix. I am not familiar with these, but being your personal best i'll be happy to trade for this one :)
Great job.
i don't know how the extra glen's record got overlooked by seemly everyone, and yet it did.
