so what happens when you hook up with a boy who listens to orchestral music and pavement? you make him a mix of course explaining to him why your music is better! i had to be rather careful with the mix so putting on songs like "don't ask why" by the replacements would probably be a bad idea. some songs seem rather random and just thrown in (cough "rebel girl" cough) but they were necessary. i also didn't want to get too mushy or anything, so i put a song the smiths song on there. what better way to cure mushyness than by putting on a band in which the lead singer actually doesn't want to have sex?Feedback:
There is nothing wrong with Pavement. Although, I have to admit, this CD is awesome.
Great mix. "The City" is my favorite song. "Asleep" I can't even listen to, though. I find it WAAAYYY too depressing.
