Comment:

A much-needed alternative to the disappointing track selection on Pete's official greatest hits compilation. Mostly drawn from his solo albums of the 70's and early '80's (not a big fan of his last two solo studio albums), plus a few Who tracks and demos. Tunes like "Slit Skirts" and "And I Moved" demonstrate that he should have pulled the plug on the Who after the By Numbers album and kept the few highlights from latter-day Who for his solo albums.

Hey - nice mix! I especially like seeing the tracks from "Who came first", an album I used to have on 8-track!

And like most of us, you probably tossed out those 8-tracks eons ago, not realizing that one day you could make a mint on Ebay.

Very, very nice. Let's count this in for our pending trade, okay?

Great compilation. I'd love to hear this sometime if you're up for a trade. Yes, I could probably have made a fortune selling my old 8-tracks, although they were never as popular over here as they were in the US.
