Comment:
More ambient stylings to tarnish the eyes and polish the ears.Track three has been edited to include soundbites from Ken Wilber dealing with non-dualism.The key message being that the non-dual, absolute answer can be determined if you just 'shut up and look.'Now this could just have easily been 'shut up and listen', both of which people are doing less and less in their increased desire for distraction and delusion. On a different tack, track twelve is Stuart Dempster returning to the cistern that Deep Listening was recorded in 6 years previously (see track four on Hisht!: Ambience #1). This is no ordinary cistern though, at 186 foot across and 2 million gallons capacity it has a natural 45 second reverb (in the late 1960's Paul Horn had made use of the 28 second reverb in the Taj Mahal). So, what do you do when you get to such a place? Well Stuart brought along 9 of his trombone students and made some noise (The album is called "Underground Overlays from the Cistern Chapel".)T = N.g
