There's reallly no rhyme or reason to this tape. I don't really know why I put ska, country, hip hop, digital hardcore, Motown, and punk on the same tape, but somehow it works. I think aside from some obvious exceptions (Atari Teenage Riot, Johnny Cash, etc.) this whole tape has an almost bubblegum pop feel to it. The title is taken from the lyrics of the Police song.
