I was reading Nick Hornby's HIGH FIDELITY when I made this a few months ago. The title is a reference to that book, which referenced it from a Liquorice Comfits album which I have never heard. HIGH FIDELITY, of course, was also made into a film, and the disc as a whole has a lot of stuff heard in movies: FIGHT CLUB (Pixies), THE BIG LEBOWSKI (Dylan), ME MYSELF AND IRENE (Wilco), DONNIE DARKO/GROSSE POINT BLANK (Echo), others. The closer wraps it up, and was also featured in the film. No real rhyme or reason, just stuff I was listening to and put onto a disc. Themes and/or meaningful mixes shall follow.
