I've been lucky enough to spend the past three summers in Negril, Jamaica and these are just some of the songs that take me there mentally. Normally I would never think to put Shaggy on a mix cd, but I had a cab driver who drove me from Montego Bay to Negril (about a 2 hour drive) who listened to nothing but "Chica Bonita" over and over...so I felt it was appropriate here. I actually purchased some really wonderful dancehall cds there that you could never find in the U.S. that I will treasure, not to mention shake my ass to, for years to come. Here's to the land of the amazing sunsets, delightful rum drinks and killer ganja! (title comes from the peter tosh song)
