Comment:

Had I made this tape in high school, it would have created a heated debate over my punk credibility. Some friends would have said, "You can't put 'Tarzan Boy' and 'Only The Lonely' on a cassette and call it a punk tape!" Technically, it's a *new wave* tape, but this is the kind of orthodoxy I had to deal with, back in the day.

Very true. You don't have to apoligize for putting the backbone of punk under the genre.
