Comment:

This is a Chris Simpson tape I sloppily and rather barbarously put together, considering the subject matter, to listen to in my car while making the hypnotic and redundant drive between school, home, and job(s). When this piece of plastic and magnetic particle is inside my car, any drive seems enjoyable. I'd drive to my own crucifixion with a big, stupid smile on my face, listening to this. I'm not sure if words are the best way to describe Chris Simpson's and his bands' songs. There are things that transcend music, poetry, numbers, and even art, and I believe his songs reside in the category of whatever defines this type of thing. Not to sound your humanities teacher or anything. Yes, there are songs left out, and yes, i really wish I could fit everything on a single piece of media. Make this tape, or any Chris simpson tape, and have yourself a near-life experience.

Everything you have just said are my exact same sentiments. To me, everything he put out is something special to share. Great job. It's about time people documented Chris' stuff with appreciation and some kind of reverie, because it IS moving . . . and that's what music is supposed to do, right?

This is a great mix.I just wish you had room to put "Slower" and "A Letter" from Mineral on here because those songs are too beautiful to ignore.

What, no "Slower"? No "Sounds Like Sunday"? No "If I Could"? Sacrilege, I say!
Anyway, incredible mixtape. Christopher Simpson is my favorite...anything and it's good to see someone else who appreciates his work. Nice, putting the Feb 7" in there, by the way.
