For some reason I think Ryan Adams could put an interesting twist on these songs and/or just do a nice spot-on cover. Track 18 is just a joke that was too rich to resist. :)Feedback:
Very interesting. I know he's a big 'Mats fan, but haven't heard of him covering any of their stuff. And he would nail that Lucinda Williams track, I think. Incidentally, I'm posting a disc of unreleased Ryan Adams stuff tomorrow sometime, so look for that. It has a couple covers, but I left out the Backstreet Boys and "Wonderwall". Right, so, back to you, this mix was a great idea. Excellent job.
Awesome choices for sure. Gotta say though- I'm pretty sure you won't hear him covering any Brayn Adams anytime soon. Have you heard about what happened at his Nashville concert?
I heard about that! I imagine that heckling must get old, but back in the day he did occassionally whip out "Summer of 69", though I don't have a copy of him doing so, regrettably.
