This my take on Phish from when I use to be in the scene. I still love my Phish but to me this was thier peak. I guess Its as they say "this has all been wonderful but now I'm on my way" Kinda summed up my feelings for the scene by 1995. Another note I wasn't going to put any live tunes because I just think u should get an entire live album to really experience the live performance or even better go see them but I can't resist the keys in this songFeedback:
I'll voice in as one of the few indie/alt-rockers here nonetheless unembarrassed to admit a Phish phixation: Very different from my own studio mix. I tend to think they were a better studio band after '95, with Billy/Ghost/Farmhouse having better stand-alone tracks (though Lawn Boy comes close).
I'm not as into those post 95 discs as much they lack a certain panache of course i am biased considering the bulk of my phish shows were pre 95
I love Billy B., but don't know em otherwise. Care to trade for any of mine?
