Comment:

This mix borrows heavily from 3 Albums in a rather large discography; Spirit, All n All, and I Am. But in my mind, these albums represent their tightest, best work, and deserve highlighting.
Starting with the album Electric Universe and beyond, nothing was included here. While there were a few good songs from these discs, to me they do not reflect the same spirit that was Earth, Wind and Fire. They remain my all-time favorite band; I could have included much more, but used the time limitation to be as selective as possible. My goal was to include songs that to me define the band, and therefore reach out to their biggest fans. There might be a personal favorite or two they won't find here, but I think anyone would be hard pressed to argue any of these songs don't deserve inclusion.
