This best-of Stephen Merritt compilation isn't meant to be definitive by any means, as it doesn't include any selections from "69 Love Songs." I did this for a few reasons. "69 Love Songs" is obviously some of Stephen's best work, and one of my favorite collections of tunes by any artist. I listen to it constantly, and wanted to devote this mix specifically to his other work, which I don't listen to as often. Also, it would have been difficult for me to select cuts from "69 Love Songs", kind of like choosing between children. Ewww....69 children.....that's perverse. I must say, I don't approve of anyone having more than two children. I recently learned that Patricia Heaton has four children and wants another, the crazy bitch. She obviously needs guidance that only I could provide. I also don't approve of those goofy Hummer vehicles. If you have one, I hate you....but I don't think you do. Ok, last tracks cut were: "The Tiny Goat", "Losing Your Affection", "How to Get Laid in Japanese", and "Lindy Lou."
