Comment:

I was watching the film Nico-Icon and there is a moment where her guitarist relates how their whole life took place within the confines this cramped van and the ordeal of doing, scoring and hiding drugs. So I work out a raw script based on this concept and end up with something that after reading it is more claustophobic than Das Boot. Anyway..the mix was created as a mock soundtrack to guide one along when reading the script.

How nice to see an old familiar name amongst all the many newbies that have infiltrated this site as of late. Another fine mix by the master. Sorry I've been slacking on sending you stuff -- I'll remedy the situation soon my friend.

I'm liking this one a lot. And a Sammy Davis Jr. to Sonny and Cher transition has to make one smile. Great job.

nice mix, cool pic. the pic is funny, why is it that most people with the wheelchair tag insist on leaving it on while driving? all it does is block their vision. oh right, I forgot.

"Claustrophobic" is right! Three days in a van is enough to try the strenth and patience of any sane person.....nice mix. Nice Kennelmus! slurp!

brilliant...I guess if that van be rockin', don't go a' knockin'

...as to the Stones cut: I read (somewhere in a magazine; a v-e-r-y long time ago) that's it's about Elton John (a.k.a. Reginald Dwight)

...I think you're right, Peter: found this on a Google search:Dancing With Mr. D by The Rolling Stones
Album: Goat's Head Soup
Date: 1973

Songfacts: You can leave comments about the song at the bottom of the page.
"Mr. D" is The Devil.
Mick Jagger considered this "Sympathy For The Devil," part 2.
Much more literal and cartoonish than "Sympathy For The Devil," it didn't scare anyone.
The last track producer Jimmy Miller worked on for The Stones.

This mix looks really great. That must be some screenplay.

The screenplay needs some work plus my willingness to let it be raped before anything happens with it.
