epicentre of a revolution
Comment:
the parenthesis indicate the song appeared on a soundtrack. right now i am having a love affair with jacques dutronc. he is way swankier than monsieur serge, but don't tell either i said so. em, let's see. there's some beat tunes on here, lots of sixties french stuff and some modern takes on sixties french stuff (incl. fabulous successes by mellow & les sans culottes), psychedelic & garage, a little 80s sass thrown in for good measure.courtesy of my unexpected day off from work! :)
oh and the last track? that's steve, from blue's clues. he made an album with the flaming lips. it's brilliant, and has nothing to do with children's singalongs ;)
Feedback:
Wow! This looks fantastic.
Rob Conroy has so already looked at this.
Isn't that Steve Burns track amazing?
yes. i also think steve burns and i were MEANT TO BE, but that's another story entirely. :)
drowning in a sea of french. have you heard the magnetic fields version of le tourbillion?
hands off, jaime, steve's mine!! great stuff all around.
I am not Rob Conroy, but I've been approached to play him in the upcoming Lifetime film detailing the Geoffrey Holland stalking episode. Working title: Holland - Death of a Conroy. Sounds as though this soundtrack is perfect!
yes, i have that pop international style cd.. it's great. but i like jeanne's version more :)
WAHH! how fun!
AWESOME.
wow! never saw this one. i know we're going to consumate our trade one of these days!
well cool!
Am I ever going to get this? ;-)
