Comment:
I'm gonna try and comment without rambling, though with this mix it might be tough. So my fellow mixer Ruby kay put me up to a social/political injustice mix, and it just turned into this creation...a mix about the strange and tough world in which we live. In these days when the whole world seems to be gearing up for war, many of us continue to ask "why?". The few in charge believe they have the principles of many in mind, but is it really worth it when within our own borders we still have so much to work on? So along with these songs of unrest, I've included two or three that deal with social issues(tracks 5,11, and 12)...and a few more to remind us that peace and quiet strength can come from within (8,13, and 15). The soundbites from THREE KINGS are ones that I felt suited the mix well, and I reccomend that movie highly- especially now, with history about to repeat itself. As for this ramble, if you've taken the time to read it, I thank you and invite any comments below.Cheers- AF.

Feedback:
Very nice. I don't have anything in this vein, but I'd love a copy. If you haven't heard Steve Earle's Jersulem, it is great! Very political. Plus, gotta listen to Dylan do "With God on Our Side" again!
Very timely. Good work, it's important that this kinda stuff gets brought up before Dubya kills more people for Daddy.
"Gulf War Song" by Moxy Fruvous would also have been very appropriate.

PEACE!
Now that I've actually listened to this mix (thanks, AF!) I can say that it's even better on CD than it is on paper... er, online. It's all there - rage, protest, righteous indignation, challenge and, finally, comfort. Way to take up a challenge and do a bang-up job! Impressed and grateful, Ruby Kay
