This is in my eyes and ears a really overlooked guy, Luke Haines founder, writer and singer in all these bands and constillations. In my ears he deserve to compare to Jarvis Crooker with a slight of Bowie and T-rex. When i was in London couple of weeks ago I finally find the last piece to these 2 mixes, The rubettes CDsingle with the great "b-side" Breakin' up. Thanks to Mike the pike for the Mogadishu track from one of the albums Luke made that aren't all great.Feedback:
I'm only peripherally aware of Luke. These 2 volumes look like they'd make a good introduction.
