A shared obsession with theatrical gore; macabre alter egos; a mastery of sonic horror: these things affirm the creative bloodline that connects Rob Zombie to original shock-rocker Alice Cooper, and it's great to find the pair united here onstage for a live performance of "Feed My Frankenstein." Of all Zombie collaborators, one of the least likely is Lionel Richie, who provides superstar vocal assistance on "Brick House 2003," the Commodores cover included on the soundtrack to House of 1000 Corpses. And speaking of twisted funk, check out the blood 'n' guts groove of "Living Dead Girl" (Subliminal Seduction Remix) from 1999's remix project American Made Music to Strip By.
