Paul Simon isn't merely one of the most covered, but one of the most widely covered, artists of his —or, for that matter, any— generation. The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, gives "Bridge Over Troubled Water" a gospel-inflected (and GRAMMY®-garnering) reading that erupts like a pillar of fire into the sky. Peter Gabriel, no slouch of a songwriter himself, revisits Graceland's "The Boy In the Bubble" courtesy of a slow, haunting, acoustic reimagining.
