for the con. this is an instrumental folk/blues mix - the sequel of sorts to an acapella mix (they i haven't finshed yet. with lead belly's moanin' being the transitional song.some of the other songs have some hollar's or talkin' but nothing to major. i'm also experimenting with a shorter disc format - sometimes i tend to try to fill up all 80 mins and it gets really bloated esp with instrumental songs - this one has a lot of different styles working together for 14 tracks and comes in at a crisp 33 mins. note : a dock boggs track "coal creek march" was suppose to be on this mix, but everytime i ripped it, it came out mute. and it was only that cd...sad) title comes from somewhere i forgot. i think it was an in an ad for folkways recordings. cheers.Feedback:
