My mother and stepfater, drunk like you wouldn't believe, were discussing my mother's car trouble. "I just wish I could get a little Honda," she explained. My stepfather slurshed, "Why don't you get a Cadillac?" Mother was floored. "A blue one," he added. The rest of the evening she muttered to me, "hey: I'M getting a CADILLAC. A BLUE one."
