Comment:
I realize this looks a great deal like Singles and Louder Than Bombs. It basically is a combination of the two, with my favorite tunes from their other albums. Morrissey remains one of my favorite songwriters of all time. He's no Scott Stapp, but still a damn talented man, and one of the most interesting people in music. I realize the choices on this mix are far from brilliant....they're just my favorites.Feedback:
Yeah, Moz could turn a phrase. And I dig Marr's guitar too. A tab overrated in my book, but still good. And as much as I admire them, your comment about Stapp could not be more dead on. That guy is like the second coming of Christ...and you think I'm kidding.
hmm... it is godly. the smiths are genius, and i feel scott strapp is over rated compared to the lyrical genius that is "some girls are bigger than others." nuff said :)
WOW. this is gorgeous. I would've added 'Panic' and 'Asleep' to my own mix, but I very much respect this. you're tempting me to give in to my final trading temptation....(I'd been looking for The Smiths 'Singles' album *everywhere*!) :P
The Smiths! Yay! I agree with Abigail -- "Asleep" would have been a good addition. But this is still a GREAT mix.
I'm not that big on "Asleep" to be perfectly honest....I know it's a big favorite for a lot of people though
Love it....only thing missing is How Soon Is Now...
Johnny Maar is pretty underated...
