A tip for ya...for current white boy blues check out a Canadian artist by the name of David Gogo....top stuff.
Although he is not strictly a blues player ... Ry Cooder qualifies somewhere in here, I would think ... Have you heard any of the slide complilations put out by Sky Ranch in Europe? Great stuff that I would have never heard of otherwise ... I love this mix and the series in general, if you'd be up for a trade sometime in the not-too-too-distant future. ..
