Comment:
Here come the cosmic Americans.... sorta. Well, that was the original intention of this mix, but it got out of control pretty quickly. There's a thread of melancholy running throughout the tunes - what you'd expect from country music played by musicians with rock and roll sensibilities. Anywho, hope you like it. The mix has flaws, but the songs certainly don't.Feedback:
hey, i'm the first one to say "thank you" for this (and your others!!!!!) very fine mix.
this looks good - I like the jayhawks, byrds, and steve earle picks

beatiful stuff here -- melancholy is right. that pete ham tune gets me every time.
This looks really nice, Sean. I especially love the Long Ryders,Jayhawks, Beachwood Sparks and Son Volt tracks.
I like it!
God, I love these songs. Melancholy, yes, and beautiful.
Yeah, some sad stuff... but most of it is transcendently beautiful and/or good.
Brilliant stuff, Sean. Some of my very favourite tracks here. well done!
Very nice. The Christy McWilson, Son Volt, and Van Morrison are personal favorites.
I think you're mistaken Sean, I don't see any flaws here. Love the Jayhawks, Flying Burrito Brothers and Teenage Fanclub tracks especially.
Sean takes a stab at the Mixed Genre again, with fabulous results! Not a flaw to be found, great job. =)
not alot of stuff I'm familliar with, but I get the vibe. Nice
Nowt wrong with melancholy...nice :)
Place me on the pontoon with Curtis and buglady!
This is beautiful.
Sometimes following the flow works out better than sticking to a preconceived plan . . . looks like this was one of those times!
Looks like this is on the money Rob.
Wow, you make such great mixes - I love the combo of Joe Pernice, Teenage Fanclub, Steve Earle, and my favorite Rod Stewart song - this is heartbreaking.
