Comment:
Hey kids, it's Mardi Gras time!!! "Throw me somethin' mister!!" Fat Tuesday is only two weeks away, and the partying has begun in earnest in New Orleans. So grab your umbrella and your white hankie and join in the second line! Laissez les bon temps rouler!
Feedback:
Great! Have to admit that my fave homage to the city of brotherly decadence is Tom Waits' "I wish I was in New Orleans". I know you weren't going for that vibe, though. There are some real faves here, and some songs totally alien to me. NO is one of my all-time favorite cities, though I didn't visit during MG time - I'm afraid that the city would kill me then.
Supa'...! Let the good times roll! (No Dr. John..?)
One of our fav' cities as well, but Stacie says we'd weigh 300 lbs. if we lived there. I think she's almost right.

Oooops! I see track #9 now, dammit! Sorry FO.., carry on carryin' on!
U do 'em good, Steve. This is no exception. It looks as tasty as a pan full of Jambalaya/Gumbo, or whatever this ill-informed Scotsman thinks passes for food down Louisiana way. Damn, my stomach's rumbling already. Just as well the good lady has dinner almost ready!
nice !...
ran the Crescent City Classic many moooooons ago !
but where am the boys...? the Preservation Hall Jazz boys [link] is what I'm talking about...

Seeing the Pres Hall band in NO is one of my all-time fave musical memories. Mmmmmm... bring in the rice and beans, or the muffaletta sandwich. Now that's eatin!
sounds like a real party-mix and i would LOVE to visit new orleans one day.
Super Mix!! Meters "They All Ask For You" and James Sugarboy Crawford's original "Jock-o-Mo" are all-time great songs.
Nice.
Sweet. I'm sure this mix would melt some of the 16+ inches of snow outside!
What can I add? Gimme a muffaletta (a local Italian deli makes a good 'un here in Joisey ?!) and this mix and I'm sittin' in Jackson Square. Excellent.
very very good
serve up the crawfish. OOOOH HHEEE! This looks spicy!
a dixie, a mint julep , a bowl of gumbo and this mix,
That would be a great evening, maybe some more beers of course

This excellent mix has been added to the Exhibit "Where You Got Those Shoes: New Orleans." Check it out at the AOTM Exhibits page.
