Comment:
I have seen many CDs of symphony orchestras perfroming Rock songs, but I have never seen one CD compilation where Rock groups perform Classical Music and Musicals. I even passed the idea to Rhino Records with no results. I decided to burn my own CD. It has Classical and Musicals performed by Rock Groups.Feedback:
What? No "Fifth of Beethoven" by what's his name? Murphy or something.
Great concept. Decades ago a group called the Toys put words to a Bach cantata and renamed it "Lover's Concerto"
I like it! A very cool concept. I think Jeff Beck recorded a version of Ravel's Bolero too.
This mix totally kicks ass. Rhino, like all the other labels, needs to get it's head out of it's own *expletive deleted*.
