this was probably the hardest CD of the boxed set to make because this is the genre of punk i have the most love for....not to mention the most diverse group of artists to chose from. artists worth mentioning the didn't make the cut: New Order, The Slits, 23 Skidoo, Liliput, and the entire New York No Wave movement (The Contortions, DNA, ESG, Liquid Liquid, The Bush Tetras, Dinosaur L, Teenage Jesus & The Jerks, etc...)
