Obviously, these songs have one thing in common... a female vocalist, & listed somewhat in chronological order from 1990-1999. It includes most of my favorite vocals (like Shirley Manson) or styles of rock with female vocals (the L7 track just rawks!!). Sure to include some of your favorites, along with some others that leave you scratching your head. These only include songs I don't already have on the artist's cd, so I'll be able to make a 2nd volume of this, as well as an 80's version. Call me stuck in the 90's, but I just prefer the variety of styles & vocals that was around then... everything now just seems too happy & monotonous.

That Portishead track is called "Sour Times". All around good mix here.

I know its been awhile since you did this mix. But having just run across it tonight, I had to comment: Very nice mix! Love it. I have a chick rock cd that I will now post, but I like yours much better.
