Comment:
Unless you're a fan of really fucked up guitar, you're only exposure to the genius of Sonny Sharrock has likely been the theme to Space Ghost Coast To Coast. An amazing musician & by all accounts, a wonderful person, this is not nearly enough of a tribute to him. I lack digital copies of much of his 70s material as well as his work with Last Exit. Still, I'd submit this to be a better intro to the man & his music than the existing compilation, Into Another Light. Sadly, while experience the greatest recognition of his career, Sonny left this world in 1994. The title comes from a eulogy written by Last Poet Umar Bin Hassan.
Feedback:
A woefully underrepresented visionary. Nice one Jim.
I know nothing about this guy Jim, but I would like a copy as I trust your judgement. Nice work
You know what? Put me down for a copy as well. I don't have enough fucked up guitar in my life.
