Comment:

This mix is just a collection of songs that I have been trying to find room to put on a mix for a while now. For whatever reason, (most of) these songs were deleted from the final track-list for some of my more recent mixes...or I've just been waiting for "the right mix" to come along. The GD-into-Blind Faith is a direct shout-out to my friend Zimagrrrl who, while roaming the parking lot after a Dead show muttered under her breath, "I'm wasted and I can't find my way home." The perfect thing to say!! As for the title, it is in honor of my wife, who is trying to teach herself Spanish by listening to a course on CD. Strictly translated, it means "New Mixture", and of course "Szanto-Nicodemus Family Productions" became "Produccion de Szanto-Nicodemus y Familia". HA HA!

That GD-Blind Faith juxtaposition is nice, and the rest of it looks like it plays pretty well too. And I can sure remember having a hard time finding my way home after such an occasion.

I always enjoy your mixes, Nic...this one is very cool. Looking forward to checking out the unfamiliar titles.
