Comment:

A "The Catcher in the Rye" themed mix, which my pal Helene likens to a soundtrack. The last song is good for movie credits. There's more of Radiohead because Thom Yorke is interestingly whiny and neurotic, and also because they do many different styles of music.

Excellent mix...and I say this not only because it really is excellent, BUT also because i was plannin' on posting a Catcher mix *also* using "Song Against Sex"--so congrats on beatin' me to both of those ideas. Heh.

I love "Song Against Sex," but hadn't applied it to Catcher... but I dunno. Personally, this is a good mix, but it doesn't match with the way I read Catcher.

I did a similar Catcher mix with other The Smiths & Of Montreal tracks and the same Flaming Lips song. "Song Against Sex" - that's a great song and a great choice, I wish I'd thought of it. And the Get Up Kids song has a great title, I must seek it out now.
