i apologize that i offended you so much with my mix of "shit music" but perhaps you should open your mind and see what the idea behind the mix was all about (which was mentioned in the mix right before it). do you think i actually listen to that music on a regular basis? please don't judge me of making a shit mix unknowingly because i did it on purpose and for a reason. besides what makes you think that you're so superior in your tastes to go around and call it on everyone else? your comment was very rude and i didn't appreciate it. if i went around dissing every mix i didn't like, aside from me throwing around my opinion like i was superior, that would be offending someone who actually put time and energy into making that mix, regardless of whether or not its "good" music. wouldn't you rather encourage that hobby of making music than shooting down someone's music? please this is a community and we should allow others to make a mixtape and not be criticized for it, regardless of what is put on it.

Natalye's right. While I don't necessarily listen to this kind of music, AOTM is supposed to be a community that we can all share our love for music. It isn't a place for elitist snots to knock every mix that doesn't have (Place obscure band of the week here). with that being said it's really not my place to tell anyone what to or not to do, but how would like people tearing into the mixes that you put together? Look man it's as simple as this, if you don't like the mix that someone posted and you have nothing CONSTRUCTIVE to say about it, then simply don't say anything. Thanks.

thank you for your apology. i accept it, and i do agree that it was crappy music but just for the record i put all the mixes i make (even the ones i am not proud of) to track everything i have done. i accept your apology and will think nothing more of it, and thank you.

Some good stuff here.

Oh, and I agree with Joe. Hell, I honestly can't see what the big deal is when it comes to Modest Mouse and Belle and Sebastion. But I don't go around bashing the mixes of people who listen to those bands.
