I abandoned all mixing rules and just made a mix that I would enjoy listening to! In between songs I included clips of Phillip Seymour Hoffman's portrayal of Lester Bangs from 'Almost Famous' They are as follows:
1. Before Blitzkreig Bop: "Here's a theory for you to ignore completely...music..true music..not just rock 'n roll...it chooses you...etc.
2. Before Break On Through: "Jim Morrison? He's a drunken buffoon posing as a poet...give me the Guess Who! They have the courage...to be drunken buffoons! Which makes tham poetic!"
3. Before No Fun: "IGGY POP! AMEN!!" "Isn't it a little early for that?" "Not for me it isn't."
4. Before Tomorrow Never Knows: "You take drugs?" "No." "Smart kid. I used to take speed, with a little cough syrup ...etc... I can't stand here addressing all my adoring fans."

The title of this mix comes from a quote that I didn't include about him always being home all the time because he's uncool.
