I just felt like making this one day... mostly so I could hear a string of my absolute favorite ELO tunes in succession and share these more obscure songs with a few friends. I'm all about indoctrinating new ELO nuts. Of course, I avoided any "hits" just to make it a bit more special. It's a bit on the ballady-side, but these are the songs which make me officially goosebumpy. Most of the tracks are segued as creatively as I found energy to do so, and flow really well for the most part... with the string parts that usually buffer ELO songs flowing together as if they were one piece. It's pretty fun. And just to be a cheeky bastard, I put together some artwork for it... mind you it's SUPPOSED to look like ugly CBS/SONY boilerplate artwork with the big white space on the back and the ever-present red spine font. I got the pictures from stuff people were selling on ebay that day, and tried to make it look as cheezy as many of the slapshod ELO compliations have in the past. Altogether a fun time & a great listen.. I just can't believe how much I adore this music. If the artwork doesn't appear on this page, see it at:
