Comment:

I was planning a short essay about the transition of of my association of the word "punk" from an image of ugly, stupid, and often violent teenagers (an idea no doubt abbetted by countless movies with fetishized punk rockers as villains) to an image of myself. I was planning an in-depth analysis of punk in relation to myself as a fat, queer, feminist, lower-class boy living in the South. But I decided such things are better saved for autobiographies, high school journals and poorly typeset perzines. So I'll let the music speak for itself and save the politics for my every day life.

I've been a punk kid for ten years now.

Amazing.

Only one comment? I think this mix is very good, tons of good bands. I dislike The Locust though.
