I made this mix for my best friend Lauren. She has no CD burner, and she's been saying that she wants to hear some of the music that I've been listening to lately. This is a bunch of songs performed by women (or by bands led by women).The title comes from the uber-poppy No Secrets song.
Numbers 1, 6, 20, and 22 are songs thrown in so that I'm not giving her too much newness at once.
She's already told me that she loves it!

Mmm...I just made a mix of all-female sung songs too! I've got that Fiona Apple song, and different tori, poe and sahara hotnights songs. I absolutely love Chicago, that song is divine, and I got to see Superchic[k] at a festival last summer, so that was good. I'm not a big fan of Avril (just seems like she's trying too hard to have attitude), but the rest looks great.
I have only heard good things about Sahara Hotnights. Imani, Poe than Cardigans makes my day. All I have to say is, where is the Sundays? Class act, cheers!
I always have to give props to the all-female mix. Bonus points for the Joni, Tuuli and Sahara Hotnights. Check out the original Josie & the Pussycats (with Cheryl Ladd) if the chance arises.
