a take on sam henry's list posted recently on splendid ezine. i tried to make the tone a little more uniform and dark with an underlying bizarreness to it while topically covering all the bases. i think it works.

joe mccarthy died on may 2, 1957 at the age of 48 from a condition related to his cirrhotic liver. fortunately for us his spirit, tenatious as it is, now resides in the host body of attorney general john ashcroft, god bless 'em.
