Comment:
A bunch of songs, they all mention specific times during the day, I put them in order, and I have a day's worth. If you can think of any that I'm forgetting, please let me know; I've been searching for songs about time for a few months now and eventually I decided I had enough to post the mix on AOTM, but I'm always looking for more. I pretty much like the way this mix turned out, though I generally disapprove of using the same artist twice in a row or three times on one CD. Whatever. It works with the theme. And I DO like the theme.Feedback:
WOw, you're a really good listener. Good idea, and any mix w/ three belle & sebastian tracks is worth making.
Very clever mix! You do know what time it is. Check out Thomas Mohr's "A Day in the Life" for a similar themed mix.
nice concept
very nice concept, you obviously put lots of tlc into yer mixes, i really like that :)
excellent job and a very clever idea!
woah
hmm i don't know if you're still looking but a few that spring to mind: Van Morrison, "Try For Sleep", 4 AM; Bob Dylan, "Hurricane", 4 AM; Beatles, "She's Leaving Home", 5 AM & 9 AM; Tom Waits, "Ol' 55", 6 AM; They Might Be Giants, "Four of Two", 1:56 PM (hmm, clearly there aren't enough songs about the afternoon); Rufus Wainwright, "Dinner at Eight", 8 PM; Robert Wyatt (and, well, um, others, but ROBERT WYATT), "'Round Midnight", 12 AM; and, er, possibly They Might Be Giants, "25 O'Clock"... hell, you think a sequel might be in order?? ;)
