Comment:

This is a revision of a mix I initially made on several cassettes in late 1995. The rule here (with nominal exceptions): no vocals, no melodies, no dancey beats - just texture. Many tracks are represented only in excerpts, everything is crossfaded broadly (and carefully!), and a few tracks feature audio futzery... If anyone cares, I have a list of exactly which sections I excerpted...

Oops - forgot to mention this is really two CDs, despite the heading. I figured I'd save doing two listings that way.

Oh man, what a classy mix. All of the artists I recognise I respect a lot (and some are all-time favourites), and I'm very eager to check out the rest. I sure hope you can find something of mine you'd be willing to trade this for. You'd probably like "Music for Scorpios..." and "Lee Ranaldo", if you don't already own most of those tracks.
