This is the third of my war and protest theme mixes. I wasn't planning on doing it but then my daughter was arrested for civil disobedience at an anti-war protest during the first day of the war.It was frustrating that I couldn't be there to help and support her (and pay her bail). She is away at her first year of college. She did get out 30 hours later. During her time in jail I received the Johnny Cash album and listened to it for the first time. I wanted to start this mix with it because of how I felt... and the tears of rage. These are songs and groups that she loves. This mix is for her.

Great mix. Sorry about your daughter. I was supposed to go to an anti-war protest in Baltimore on Thursday...the weather and a mid-term, and my parents, prevented that. My parents have forbidden from protesting for fear I'll be arrested and blacklisted, and we're trying to get govt money for college. Too bad that money's being thrown away on this "war".
