i don't think i like the smashing pumpkins (prejudice really - i only ever heard a couple songs by em, it's just...that guy, singer of that band...seems like such a ridiculous dick!) but i'm gettin tha vibe here in general...putting badfinger (that song is beautiful) & "kangaroo" (ditto!) on the same tape as prince & moroder suggests some depth. jesus i sound so patronising, i'm sorry!
