This came out great! Some really inspired picks.
This was a nice idea and, as Sean said, it came out just great.
Wow. You weren't kidding when you said it would be eclectic.
This is a lovely pretty beautiful mix. I like it a whole bunch and would have loved to hear it.
Looks like some fine sonic valium Steve.
My lids are getting heavy just playing this in my mind! Great work on the other 3 discs in the box set too. Some nice picks I would'nt'a thought of. 'Cuse me while I slip into my jammies.
wow. this is really amazing. I'm currently finding the songs for them all, and some of them look absolutely sedateable. (which is now a word)
Steve -- This is a great idea and you pulled it off, too. Good job. I would love to swap for the summary disc!
Looks great, Steve. Sorry that you couldn't get "Tugboat"... I'll send you my Galaxie mix when I get my comp fixed. Thanks for the shout-out!
Probably the best sleep mix i've seen on this site! Well done!
Brilliant mix once again, Steve. Thanks for the mention and this one/Three should prove really popular.
I admire your effort for this piece. I think perhaps I may embark on a similar journey.
Nice one, Steve. I think that all worked really well. Great to see what everyone else picked. And you've ended up with a great mix too.
wow, Steve. what an effort. I'd like to get my hands on one of the discs, if not all. I'm glad I could contribute in a small way...I'm afraid I have no ideas for a Texas mix...most of my CDs come from other states, I guess. But this is wonderful. Pleasant dreams.
Very nice work indeed! Thanks for asking me to contribute ... although I have to say that Sammy's Song ain't my choice for a sleep song ... 'twas my good friend ... who is much more twisted than me!
:) ooooh, sleep. That's a great idea.
Every mix I get has a "right time/right circumstances" situation surrounding the first play..., I've been listening to this one for a month now (the "official" posted mix) and wanted to let those who are looking through Steve's posted work this is a top choice. It satisfies! The concept and execution are top-notch.....it's one thing to come up with these extraordinary lists of tracks via input from others-another matter entirely to make coherent sense of those recommendations, Steve has rendered a beautiful work. This is the "Art of the Mix." A tip o' the helmet.
