Comment:
I really wasn't expecting this project to go to five volumes, but it shows no signs of stopping. The mixes are starting to get more idiosyncratic now that I'm starting to run out of mix-worthy songs from the "Just Can't Get Enough" series. Simple Minds was a conscious "hey, I bet Simple Minds had some songs that aren't that goddamn Breakfast Club song...I should do some research" choice. Finding This Island Earth was a complete accident, and I don't believe that song has ever been issued on CD, so thank you, whoever ripped that song from vinyl (especially since my girlfriend requested that "Jessie's Girl" go on my next '80s collection, and that was the only song I thought it flowed well after).Feedback:
If you do use something by Simple Minds, I would suggest Waterfront or perhaps New Gold Dream. Nice series of mixes by the way
