this was a mixtape i made for a friend of mine after she served up a neat one for me. i guess that is how it goes sometimes. i was somewhat inspired by some of the reading of deCerteau i had done and sort of went with this whole "context" aim of making the songs especially flow into each other forming a line through "spaces" (side A's title) and "places" (side B's title). a lot of the songs seem to contain very similar musical or lyrical ideas and the tape ends right around where it started, musically. this one was made sometime early 2002 i believe and its still looking pretty neat to me...
