What... no Half Breed?
OK, I'm NOT a Cher fan... BUT, I think she really sang beautifully on those early Sonny hits. "Baby don't go" has a really beautiful vocal on it. It seems as though she sings too "hard" nowadays. The songs themselves are usually good choices (Believe is pretty damned catchy), but she changed the way she sings at some point. A while back I posted a Sonny Bono tribute - my fave Cher moments are on that. Now all this said, Gypsies is a pretty great song. I saw her perform this in the 1970s - she was (and still is) a great performer.
