Comment:

for patrick. no real reason. got back from the girl's house and decided to make a mix of the first 20 CDs i found. The shot is an hour out of my cousin's home in Reykjavik, Iceland. It's a wierd shot of Blaalonid (the blue lagoon).... its a peaceful sot

this is lovely, shoegazing dave. i went to iceland in 2000, and while i didn't go to the blue lagoon, i found reykjavik quite pretty, although too rainy! (i was there in Feb.)

Ah you MUST come back home in July... I personally prefer going back in the wintertime, because there's nothing like the fjords of Hofn or Akureyri in December.. and we take my cousins truck up the mountains -- ach its beautiful! But for tourists, i'd say come in summer, its breathtaking! I hope you enjoyed your self in Reykjavik! Its a wonderful town (and i must say i love speaking icelandic, such apretty tongue!)

And patrick -- maybe if you send me your address, you'll be getting a tape soon :) i decided to not stick with 1 genre of artists, but kinda mix it up a bit.. this is a mix tape site, is it not? i hope you dig it -- i did spend some time fitting some stuff together. Let me know mate!

i don't think anyone said that? I dunno.. we don't really know each other, and its pretty stupid to be pseudo-negative with someone you don't even know, so i decided to make a mix for him. I hope he likes it. He may not, but i still made him a mix that i think is pretty cool :)

clarification: I think the actualy MIX TAPE itself is cool, not the fact i made him a mix.. :) though thats not UNcool, but you know what i mean... :)

Well, I had questioned the value of some of his mixes lately... so I think it's interesting that he did this, I suppose as a way of showing me that he's on the level. So, yeah, he seems like a really nice guy, I've never debated that. (By the way Dave, did you get my e-mail with my address?)

Ha ha, I totally forgot about this. Stumbled upon it while doing an Elliott Smith search.
