So its the first day over 60 degrees in SEVEN MONTHS ... so i'm drinking beer on the deck cooking out by myself -- i've been dreaming of a day alone.. no rugby, no snow, no school, no hospital, NOTHING.. just me, my boxers, a pack of camels, the sun, beer, and some kind of meat... and this CD... its sunny dreamy, not necessarily winter dreamy... i talked to my cousin in Iceland today... made me think of my youth.. got me sad in a good way, and i made a shoegaze-y CD, but a happier one (whoa, me make a shoegaze cd? no...). Plus i'm going to see Mitch Hedberg tonite again. He's playing a free show at my school. Nice... enjoy

the pic is of Reykjavik a couple years ago. Your standing in the south of the city, looking at Hallagrimmakirkja (the big church in the center of town). This is in the spring time, but its B&W so you can't tell. enjoy
By the way, by shoegaze, i don't necessarily mean 'stereotypical shoegaze' -- i mean more just.. literally, Gazing at your Shoes mix -- more somber dreamy swirly music.. i know what shoegaze is of course :)
Mitch Hedberg is one of the funniest comedians I've seen in forever.
i know, he's amazing live... he played a buncha times in pittsburgh this year (like seriously 3 times in 2 months!) and then his free show tonite at my school, but he was too drunk and kept repeating the same jokes... he's great though. I gave him a copy of this CD. i hope he digs it
