Comment:
i actually made this on a cd but they wouldn't let me use side two slots if i said it was on a cd. making this mix tape was actually a lot of fun and if i had taken just one different path (i.e. sonic youth instead of husker du) it would have turned out completely different. most of the songs i picked didn't really have to do with the connection (for example, if i really wanted to be true to the brian eno/david bowie connection, i would have picked something from the berlin trilogy) but i didn't really feel like it. this tape makes me really happy. who knew the happy mondays and sean na na could be connected so easily?Feedback:
Excellent idea! And some really great choices (i.e. t-rex, husker du, roxy, joy division, etc)
I don't know all these tunes, but this appears to be a very cohesive sounding mix. I also applaud the concept. Possible Mix of the Week candidate?
This was a cool idea, and you made it run through the Minneapolis bands, so I have to like it.
Wow, that was ambitious! And totally pulled off! Bravo!
This is a really cool idea. Fantastic job. Let me know if you'd like to trade for it!
definitely neat
I think this mix is very cool
what a fun game. by the way, sean na na IS har mar superstar.
Thats DEFINITELY cool as all hell.
excellent concept and nice job pulling it off...gets my brain working!
good stuff. for the longest time, i actually thought har mar superstar and sean na na were brothers too. but they're the same person afterall. oh well. i guess it still counts.
Would you be terribly offended if any of us borrowed this concept?
Excellent! Nice execution. I'm sure you could have carried it on longer if you didn't run out of space on the CD
yeah, great idea!
very cool.
